Meet the Vermineeters

A long time ago, in a land far, far away…

Jagger Hatewolf and Ella stood at the entrance to a cavern with a goblin guard shouting an alarm. Jagger tried to kill the creature but it took a blast from Ella to bring it down. The duo tried to sneak into the cavern, with Ella hiding in the shallow stream that ran through the cavern. They soon found themselves confronting wolves chained inside. The snarling creatures were soon killed, but not before Ella suffered a mortal wound. Luckily, Jagger was able to administer first aid and after a rest, she was able to continue the journey.

Further inside the cave, they saw a goblin attempting to hide on a bridge ahead of them. They decided to climb a side passage in order to sneak up on the creature, but found themselves in a room with several goblins holding Sildar Hallwinter as hostage. The leader of the creatures threatened to throw the badly injured Sildar off a ledge, but the companions managed to make quick work of the Vermineeters before they could harm Sildar…

Hunting Goblins

A long time ago, in a land far, far away…

Jagger Hatewolf and Ella stopped on the Torrin Trail to investigate the two dead horses blocking their path. They recognized the horses as those belonging to their current employer, Gundren Rockseeker, and his human escort.

As they were investigating, several goblins attacked them from the bushes. Jagger flew into a rage and shifted into his werewolf form. The first goblin was easily killed and the second tried to flee, only to be hunted down and mauled unto death. Jagger then proceeded to mutilate the bodies before the companions struck out down a goblin trail.

They soon came to a snare trap, which Ella found herself caught in. Jagger decided to hide in the woods, using Ella hanging by her hand as bait. Sure enough more goblins arrived and the companions made quick work of the vile beasts.

Further up the trail, they managed to avoid a pit trap and eventually found the mouth of a cavern. To get a good look at the area, Jagger threw Ella into the air for her to get a bird’s eye view. She spotted one goblin guard resting in a blind before Jagger caught her. Jagger decided to sneak toward the cave entrance to get the drop on the goblins. Unfortunately, the goblin was roused and quickly raised an alarm…

A Long Time Ago, in a Land Far, Far Away…

Jagger Hatewolf and Ella were hired by a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker to bring a wagonload of provisions to the rough and tumble frontier settlement of Torrin, a couple days travel southeast along the Channel Road. Although the area is technically under the auspices of the Bringers of Might, some low races of The Hordes, as well as those inclined toward scum and villainy, are known to traverse this backwater section of Antor. Gundren went ahead of them with a warrior escort named Sildar Hallwinter to take care of some business and meet his two brothers in Torrin. Jagger and Ella were to deliver the two oxen and wagon loaded with goods to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Torrin. Upon safe delivery, each is entitled to 10 gold pieces and received promise of much more lucrative work from Gundren. They veered off the main Channel Road east onto Torrin Trail. The companions were on the trail for about half a day when they come around a bend. Now, ahead of you, blocking that path are two dead horses. Each has several black feathers sticking out of it. Deuce Brickinson, Harsh, Rezin and Barabas Murdertooth traveled across a bridge over a swift stream toward the town of Marrthorn. Just after the bridge, they discovered signs of a recent confrontation, but the only thing left behind was a chainsaw sword. Deuce claimed the weapon and they headed out.
